On August 24th, 2008 Jean Michel Jarre was 60 years old, but as active as ever; new studio album in the works, new European tour planned for the fall, an outdoor concert to celebrate the stars planned for 2009, and for the first time Jarre has established a direct contact with his fans via his personal blog.

While Jarre plans for the future, jarretribute.com looks back as we present our latest web project; a trip down memory lane - we talk to collaborators, friends, musicians and others who have memories of the French art pioneer.

Kirk Whalum - Houston and Lyon sax player
Patrick Rondat - guitarist in concert 1993 - 2005
Jun Miyake - trumpeter on Tokyo Kid
Fiona Commins - manager and personal assistant
